Dr. Wayne R. Meylor was born in Cherokee, Iowa and raised on a farm in rural Cherokee.
Dr. Wayne R. Meylor is a 1979 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. While at Palmer College, Dr. Meylor received specialized training in areas involving radiology and various techniques. His undergraduate work was at the University of Northern Iowa.
Dr. Meylor is a recipient of the Ambassador Award from Palmer College which is an award in excellence in chiropractic service, as well as being selected as a Counselor for Pinnacle Management Group and was honored as Dr. of the year in 2012. He was also awarded an Outstanding ICS member Award by the Iowa Chiropractic Society in 2012. Dr. Meylor lectures frequently across the U.S.
Dr. Meylor and his wife, Kris, have four children. They are members of the St. James Catholic Church and have resided in LeMars since 1979. The Meylor family enjoys numerous activities including all outdoor sports, boating, fishing and hunting. Dr. Meylor is one of 26 Chiropractors in his family tree.
